On Monday 5 October, in the Hotel Radon Plaza in Sarajevo, Directorate for European Integration organized the „visibility“ conference „SEE 2007-2013 to meet the Danube Transnational Programme 2014 – 2020“, attended by development agencies from the entire BiH and representatives of relevant Ministries of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference was also attended by a representative of the Federal Development Planning Institution.
The aim of the conference was to inform the participants on the results that this transnational programme achieved in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Presentation of project results of SEE programme with BiH partners included the presentation of projects SERDA BiH, LINK Mostar and their project partners from BiH and the region.
In the second part the new Danube Programme 2014-2020 was presented, and the opening ceremony, with the announcement of the first call for proposals, was held on 23 September in Budapest, Hungary.
New Danube programme has four objectives: Innovative and Socially Responsible Danube Region, Environment Responsible Danube Region, Energy Responsible Danube Region, Well-Governed Danube Region. Within these four objectives of the Danube strategy, programs can be prepared to apply for funds. The first call for these funds was closed on 03 November 2015.
In addition to the promotion of recent results of SEE programme in BiH, the conference was an opportunity for all potential applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina to timely get important information needed to include BiH partners in the projects of the new Danube programme.
