Sarajevo, October 14, 2020 - In the Center for Children and Youth in Novo Sarajevo, in compliance with all epidemiological measures, consultations with socio-economic partners on the document Framework for the Sustainable Development Goals Implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina were held.

The aim of these consultations was to explain the Sustainable Development Goals and the process of their adjustment to socio-economic actors. The partners accessed the consultations via the Zoom platform and provided the feedback and suggestions for improving the document.

Amra Abadžić from Brčko District of BiH opened the session, and the introductory speech was given by Ingrid Macdonald, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in BiH.

Speakers were also Nemanja Kovačević, Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republi Srpska, Amra Fetahović, Directorate for Economic Planning of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Nijaz Avdukić, Development Programming Institute of the FBiH.

 During the working part, the floor was given to the socio-economic partners who commented and gave the suggestions on the draft document.

This was the final round of consultations, following is the submission of the document to the adoption procedure to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Brčko District of BiH, and the governments of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Srpska.
