Representatives of all cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Development Programming Institute and the staff of the Integrated Local Development Project held a meeting to discuss development strategies.
Nine cantons (only the HNK has not yet launched the process, but is expected soon) have launched development strategy preparation processes for 2021-2027, supported by ILDP, a joint project of the Swiss Government and the United Nations Development Program.
Staus of strategic documents by cantons is as follows:
- ZDK- Development Council established and the Strategy drafted;
- USK – Cantonal Board for Development members nominated, Development Council established, situation analysis development in process;
- BPK - Cantonal Board for Development members nominated, Development Council established, situation analysis development in process;
- K10 - Cantonal Board for Development members nominated, situation analysis development in process;
- ZHK - the process has started, data for the situation analysis are being collected. Good basis are existing strategies of rural development and tourism development;
- KS - the process has started, workshops related to sectoral SWOT analysis are being held;
- SBK- the process has started, data for the situation analysis are being collected;
- PK – the process has started, data for the situation analysis are being collected;
- TK – the decision on the process of the Development Strategy creation has been adopted, development of the situation analysis in process.
During the meeting we discussed the strategies’ preparation process, and we exchanged the experiences to have the qualitative documents in all the cantons, by the end of the year.
