The Prime Minister of the Herzegovina Neretva Canton Government, Denis Lasić, together with the Minister of Justice, Administration and Local Self-Governance, Radenko Mirić, and representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Herzegovina Neretva Canton, held a meeting with the representatives of the Federal Development Programming Institute (FDPI) and UNDP on Monday, October 7.
The topic of the meeting was the initiative launched by FDPI in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Justice and SDC/UNDP, which is related to the harmonisation of development planning and management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on consultations launched in October 2012 with representatives from the state, Federal, cantonal and local level, a draft concept was made and elements of the future harmonised development planning and management system in the Federation were defined, which will be the basis for a legal act regulating this field.
Prime Minister Lasić commended this initiative and emphasized that its implementation was very important, especially in the context of EU integration process.
