A meeting at the building of the Government of Canton 10 (Livno Canton) initiated a new round of discussions between representatives of the Federal Development Programming Institute and prime ministers of cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to strategic planning.
The first meeting was held with the Prime Minister of this canton, Nediljko Rimac and his staff on June 4 in Livno. They discussed the topic of ''strategic planning at the level of cantons – horizontal and vertical coordination'', which may be considered an important step towards the institutionalisation of the strategic planning system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ljubiša Đapan, Director, and Nijaz Avdukić, Assistant Director of the Institute, Marina Dimova, Head of the ILDP2 Project, and Amela Zukorlić, a donor representative, spoke with the Prime Minister of the Canton about the project.
Discussions with cantonal prime ministers about this project will be completed by the end of June of this year.
