The seventh, last meeting on public policy development entitled ''Mechanisms for Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Policies and Regulations'' that was held on Tuesday, February 12 of this year was at the same time the final event of the training for the staff of the Federal Development Programming Institute related to the impact assessment of the Law on Development Planning and Development Management of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training was co-organised by UNDP and USAID, which also supports the Project Strengthening Government Institutions and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SGIP).
The first training on strategic planning policy, economic integrations, European experiences, etc., was held on October 10, 2013. The second training (October 17) was entitled ''Situation Analysis and Defining of Problems'', and the third training (November 15) was focused on defining public policy goals. The fourth training (December 19) was entitled ''Defining Public Policy Options'', the fifth ''Public Policy Impact Assessment'', and the sixth focused on consultations in the process of public policy development and it was held on January 7 and 8, 2014 in Sarajevo.
All of these seminars and practical trainings of the staff of the Federal Development Programming Institute were lead by Selim Kulić, the public policy development consultant of the USAID SGIP project (Strengthening Government Institutions and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina).
