Sarajevo, July 2 - 3, supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), "Performance Management and Evaluations Workshop " was held for all employees of the Federal Institute for Development Programming, facilitated by an Expert Psychologist, Damir Sertić, from the Business School "SUPERA" in Zagreb.

The worksop was divided ino two parts, the first one referred to an overview of the managerial techniques and behaviors, with the aim to learn about new perceptions of verbal and nonverbal communication, thus to improve relations among employees, develop managerial and other skills among the employees in order to be better, more professional and efficient in performing their duties.

The second part of the workshop referred to the analysis of the government officer appraisal system which was applied since 1.1.2012. in institutions of FBiH. We learned that it is necessary to:

  • Ensure that all employees know what is expected of them;
  • Ensure that the work performance is evaluated transparently;
  • Ensure that every employee gets feedback on the work performance.

The program enclosed the issues of professional and managerial competences, competences for human resources management, gaining professional confidence and develope qualitative relationships.
