Strengthening the National Planning Process in Bosnia and Herzegovina – this was the topic discussed by representatives of the EU TWINNING project and Federal Development Programming Institute on September 11 of this year.
Josef Poeshl, a long-term advisor of this project has, together with his colleagues – Vesna Salaj and Nikola Lazinica, the resident Twinning assistants in Sarajevo, organised and held several meetings with the representatives of the competent organisations in charge of the planning system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the purpose of the meeting at the Federal Development Programming Institute was to contribute to the improvement of the overall planning process in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole country through this project.
The Director of FDPI, Ljubiša Đapan, and his assistants – Nijaz Avdukić and Rijad Kovač agreed with Josef Poeshl and his colleagues that the EU TWINNING project will considerably improve and strengthen the overall planning process in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it was thus proposed to identify problems and develop an activities plan by the beginning of October for the purpose of further planning process strengthening in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
