The second public hearing on the Draft Law on Development Planning and Development Management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held today in the premises of the Municipal Council in Livno. 

At the beginning of the public discussion, all participants were welcomed by Alma Kobašlija (Federal Ministry of Justice), Nijaz Avdukić (Federal Development Planning Institution), Nasir Nalić (Integrated Local Development Project) and Lejla Hasanović (Strengthening Governing Institutions and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina). The representative of the Federal Development Planning Institution presented the very process of making regulatory impact assessment and the adoption of public policy that preceded the drafting of the said Law, while the representative of the Federal Ministry of Justice presented the text of legislation. This was followed by discussion, with some concrete proposals for improving the text of the law, which will be reviewed at the end of the public hearing process.
