The third public hearing on the Draft Law on Development Planning and Development Management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held today at the Bosnian Cultural Centre in Tuzla.

As in the previous public hearings, at the beginning of the public hearing, all participants were welcomed by Alma Kobašlija (Federal Ministry of Justice), Nijaz Avdukić (Federal Development Planning Institution), Aida Laković-Hošo (Integrated Local Development Project) and Selim Kulić (Project Strengthening Governing Institutions and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina). This was followed by presentation of the processes of making regulatory impact assessment as well as the text of the Law. This was followed by discussion, and comments on the text of the Law were given by representatives of the Municipality of Gračanica, the Municipality of Banovići, the Ministry of Development and Entrepreneurship of Tuzla Canton, the Municipality of Odžak, the Ministry of Economy and Physical Planning of Posavina Canton, and the Centre for Regional Cooperation within the Chamber of Commerce of Tuzla Canton, who presented concrete proposals for improving the text of the law, which will be reviewed at the end of the public hearing process.
